We believe it is important to work together with our communities, corporate partners, schools, nonprofit organizations, and civil & business leaders to help empower the youth, improve our communities and foster greater civic participation.
The J. F. Holder Foundation is a 501c(3) non-profit organization devoted to creating educational and social opportunities for disadvantaged youth. We offer attractive and responsive quality of life programming designed to help the youth achieve academic, social and workforce success. Our mission is to engage, educate and empower the youth, by creating 21st Century learning spaces where the youth can learn the essential skills that will help them succeed in school, their careers and in life.
Our Programs.
The J.F. Holder Foundation offers attractive and responsive programs strategically developed to provide unique educational and social opportunities and life-changing experiences. Our programs inspire our participants to live a more enriched and empowered life. We are committed to providing high-quality youth programs and supportive services to help our children explore, share and reach their potential.
The J.F. Holder Foundation has integrated technology into all of our quality of life programs. This technology has allow us to expand our community outreach, we are now able to reach hundreds and thousands of youth in the community will a click of a mouse. Programs today are no longer limited to four walls, the youth can explore, share and learn about their communities and the world beyond their own experiences.
Powered For Success.
Our Powered for Success is a STEM-Inspired Mentoring Program that provides disadvantaged youth with educational and social opportunities, and inspire young minds in the world of technology. We use STEM Initiatives, counseling and character building strategies to help the youth achieve academic, social and workforce success.
Fairmont Project.
The Fairmont Project is a social & diversity project where we to layout strategies and solutions that advance racial and social transformation in America. The project’s mission is to invest into the social equity of at-risk youth, and have real & honest conversations about race and culture in a safe and supportive environment.
Today's young people receive little meaningful education about race and its continuous role in our society. Our goal is to layout the blueprint for at-risk youth to excel in today’s social climate.
Counseling & Mental Health Education.
The J.F. Holder Foundation is dedicated to promoting mental health education and ending the stigma around mental illness in minority communities. We have collaborated with mental health professionals to offer support groups, therapy talk sessions, workshops and individual counseling for at-risk youth and their families.
Book Donation.
The J.F. Holder Foundation in partnership with the Silver Cross Healthy Community Commission and Discover Books were honored to donate over 2,000+ books to Fairmont Grade School District 89 (in Lockport Illinois) for their library and literacy programs.

Our organizations are committed to working together to create educational and social opportunities in underserved communities. We look forward to putting ideas into action and action into service.
Community Garden Club .
Global Ambassadors.
Our Global Ambassadors program is a high tech virtual classroom and virtual field trip project where we inspire the youth through global collaboration. We collaborate with other virtual classrooms and youth organizations from around the world to expose students to different world cultures, allowing them to exchange stories about their cultures, build international relationships and become global citizens.
Our goal is to foster global awareness and cross-cultural understanding, and to empower the youth to believe that they matter, that learning matters, that they can make their communities and the world better.
